We’ve launched a service that makes a backup of your website everyday, automatically. We backup every file that makes up your website and the database, giving us everything we need should your hosting or website fail.

We then keep rolling backups everyday for a month, and a monthly backup for a year. Once the service is running, we’ll have a minimum of 30 versions of your site and database, to restore from should we need to.

For added protection, we keep the backup files of your site on the resilient “S3” service run by Amazon. Storing the files away from your hosting means if anything should go wrong, we have instant access to a recent version of your site.

We like to think of this as a peace-of-mind service. Should something go wrong with your site, we can start work on rectifying the issues immediately from a recent backup.

Pricing

As an introductory offer, we’re launching this service at £10 a month + data charges.

The data charges are simple. £0.50 per GB used.
